This is my very first blog post on my website, and what better way to start than to announce that I will be covering the Boston Calling Music Festival for Toronto based online music magazine, Into the Crowd. With music acts like Jack Johnson, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, and Bastille, needless to say, I'm excited. Here is an awesome video showing this weekend's lineup:

Covering the event with me as a Writer for Into the Crowd, is my friend Dan Hogan. He'll be attending the shows, conducting interviews with bands, and writing a full review of the festival. He's also written an awesome festival guide as a preview for the festival, which you can check out HERE at Into the Crowd Magazine's website.

This is going to be great weekend. I'm really looking forward to photographing the live performances, interviewing artists, and having fun with festival-goers. I'm also taking this as a HUGE opportunity to interact with people on social media to share my experiences as a photographer and to really start building a following on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
